What You Will Do
- Participate in all workplace focused project phases, including programming client needs, conceptual design, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration.
- Collaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies and other vendors to meet overall project objectives
- Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, millwork design, accessories, and lighting.
- Participates in the construction administration of projects - including review of submittals and finish samples
- 5 years of experience as an interior designer
- Must be highly proficient in Revit
- Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or related field from an accredited program
- Workplace interior experience required.
- Ability to communicate design ideas and direction quickly
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Strong knowledge of the design process, including FF&E, furniture systems and specifications, color and materials
- Rendering and visual communication skills are highly valued
- NCIDQ preferred but not required; working toward licensure is supported and encouraged
