Primary Function: 

GenPro Energy Solutions is currently seeking an Electrical Construction Supervisor with a strong electrical background and a valid Journeyman (JM) Electrical License, or greater. Candidates should have at least five years of experience leading electrical teams, with demonstrated experience in low voltage (LV) and medium voltage (MV) systems. A CDL is a plus. The Construction Supervisor will have an extensive knowledge of PV Solar installation, electrical codes with an emphasis on safety and OSHA regulations. Travelling is an important part of this job to be effective. The Construction Supervisor is expected to be on job sites, leading and mentoring the Field Operations team and must be able to proficiently perform every assembly task from ground to interconnection. 

Reporting relationship:  Senior Construction Supervisor 

Essential Job Functions: 

• Work directly with construction managers/operations team to help implement project goals
• Coordinate with construction managers/operations team/project leads for project execution
• Maintaining project documentation
• Monitor proper documentation is being completed by field operations crew in ProCore
• Assisting with the preparation and proofing of project deliverables/status reports pertaining to (scope and schedule)
• Liaise with appropriate team members to maintain project schedule and efficiency
• Manage jobsite site accordingly to the scope of work to help prevent scope creep
• Develop and manage part lists needed to complete projects (AC part lists)
• Assist with procuring materials and other items necessary for completing project goals

• Assist with necessary paperwork including but not limited to permits and interconnections
• Assist with close out documentation
• Conduct QA/QC of jobsites to ensure workmanship and code requirements are met
• Meet with inspectors on jobsites for closing out of projects
• Building and maintaining excellent client relationships
• Manage sub-contractor selection process as well as manage sub-contractor onsite during course of construction
• Lead and mentor field operations crews on jobsites
• Evaluate processes through course of construction to ensure efficiency in the field
• Evaluate and uphold jobsite safety standards/requirements
• Other duties as needed

Skills and Other Characteristics: 

• Self-starter with ability to manage details of multiple projects simultaneously. 
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills. 
• Ability to create and edit Excel documents that use mathematical formulas and logic. 
• Create, read, and understand construction documents, including electrical diagrams. 
• Skilled in drawing review, with an eye for detail and understanding of cross-checking multi-sheet construction sets for accuracy and consistency. 
• Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat. 
• OSHA 10 Certification 
• Problem-solving skills 

Education/Licenses: 

• Valid Journeyman Electrical License
• Valid Driver License with a clean driving record
• CDL Preferred
