Janitor
REPORTS TO: Maintenance Manager
FLSA STATUS: Hourly 7AM - 4PM Monday - Friday.
SUMMARY: Ensure clean and healthy environment in the manufacturing facility and offices. Handle general cleaning tasks like vacuuming, mopping, and dusting, take out trash, stock restrooms, and report any maintenance issues. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently a must. Responsible for executing the daily, weekly and monthly master cleaning checklist assigned.
KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Clean and sanitize all assigned areas, including restrooms, hallways, and offices.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
- Dust furniture and electronics.
- Empty trash cans and recycling bins.
- Replenish supplies in restrooms and break rooms.
- Report any maintenance issues to supervisor.
- May perform minor repairs, such as fixing leaky faucets or replacing light bulbs (depending on the job).
- Ensure all building entrances are secured after closing hours (if applicable).
- Follow all safety and cleaning protocols.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
- No experience is necessary, but willingness to learn is a must.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Physically able to perform cleaning tasks, which may include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable and dependable with a positive work ethic.
