Main Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily MSU operations
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff
- Handle staffing schedules, productivity, and resource planning
- Support hiring, retention, and staff development
- Maintain compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and safety standards
- Participate in budgeting and cost control
- Assist with nurse competency tracking and education
- Occasionally provide direct patient care when needed
- Support Pathway to Excellence nursing culture
🎓 Requirements
- BSN required | MSN preferred
- Active Colorado RN License
- Minimum 3–5 years leadership experience in Med Surg/MSU
- BLS & ACLS required before hire
- PALS and TNCC/TCAR within 6 months
- NE-BC certification within 3 years preferred
- CCRN/PCCN preferred
