Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service at the front counter
- Take and process food orders accurately using POS systems
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
- Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give correct change
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including food prep areas and dining space
- Operate kitchen equipment safely to assist with food preparation when needed
- Manage food handling procedures in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols
- Assist in food preparation tasks to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Provide friendly assistance with customer inquiries, take-out orders, and delivery coordination
- Support retail sales transactions at the front counter, including processing credit card payments
- Ensure all food safety regulations are followed diligently for a safe dining environment
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast-food restaurants preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates
- Strong background in food service customer order management, cashiering, or retail sales transactions
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Culinary or kitchen experience that demonstrates knowledge of food handling and safety practices
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately
- Experience operating kitchen equipment or working in a restaurant or café setting is highly desirable
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire is preferred
