Working under the supervision of the Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Tech II performs the technical and manual tasks involved with receiving, storing, preparing, repackaging and distribution of medications and supplies. Assists the pharmacist with other duties as necessary.

- High school diploma or GED.
- Completion of Medical Terminology course and/or related college course completion.
LICENSE:
PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:
Minimum:
- Current Pharmacy Technician Certification, or attainment within a maximum of 12 months of hire.
- Alternative: Current NYS Pharmacy intern license and enrolled with an accredided pharmacy school.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Preferred:
- Experience in a pharmacy or other healthcare setting.
