What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanic I position at Geneva General Hospital?
Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, repairs and operates all building support equipment and maintenance tools and equipment. Assists in the installation of facilities equipment.
Requirements: EDUCATION:
Minimum:
- High School education or equivalent
- Additional training in engineering technologies.
LICENSE:
Minimum:
- Valid NYS driver's license clear of violations consistent with FLH Policy
PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Minimum:
- One year in building operations and maintenance.
SKILLS:
Minimum:
- Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with the public in a professional and courteous manner, and to deal effectively with stressful situations. Must be able to travel to multiple locations on any given day as requested.
