Summary of Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Executive Director of the Geneva College Center for Faith & Life (CFL) in order to fulfill its mission to generate a vigorous public presence that boldly engages culture with a Christian faith perspective and does so in ways that innovatively deploy Geneva faculty and students. Essential Responsibilities: (These essential responsibilities are those the individual must be able to perform unaided or with the assistance of reasonable accommodation.)Administrative SupportOffice Management: manage inventory and mail delivery, maintain filing systems (digital and physical), ensure office equipment functionalityCommunications: greet visitors, manage emails, draft correspondence, make phone calls, and provide other communication services that are vital for the functioning of the CFLScheduling: schedule meetings, manage calendars, book travel, arrange events, coordinate plans with other program coordinatorsDocumentation: prepare, proofread, and edit reports, assist with presentation preparations, draft memos, perform data entry, process expense reports, handle bookkeeping and invoicingGeneral Support: provide administrative support for CFL Director, CFL Faculty Fellows, and CFL graduate assistants B. Meet all deadlines as requiredOperate a PC and related software including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Christian Commitment: An eligible candidate must be a thoughtful and articulate Christian and an active member of a Protestant evangelical Christian church. Preference will be given to the candidate who supports and has an articulate understanding of the Reformed faith. An eligible candidate must understand and support the College’s “Foundational Concepts of Christian Education” by expressing an evangelical Christian profession of faith and demonstrate the ability to integrate a Christian perspective in their work.
