As we expand to Nashville in 2026, we are seeking a Business Technology Trainer who will equip our young professionals with the foundational business and technology skills they need to thrive. As a Business Operations & Technology Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping these journeys. You wont just teach software or technical conceptsyou will help young people discover new possibilities, build confidence, and step into their potential as emerging professionals. You will be part of the first team launching Genesys Works Nashville, making your impact even more meaningful as we bring our proven model to a new community.
As the Business Operations & Technology Trainer, you will:
- Teach entry-level business and technology skills to a cohort of up to 35 rising high school seniors.
- Collaborate with the Program Coordinator and full-time Genesys Works staff to deliver high-quality curriculum, set expectations, model professionalism, and create a supportive, accountable learning environment.
- Grade assignments, status reports, and evaluationsand record them accurately and on time.
- Coach, mentor, and guide students throughout the summer training program as they develop communication, professional, and technical skills.

As the Business Operations & Technology Trainer, you will need the following to be successful:
- Certifications, credentialing, or a college degree in a business or technology-related field.
- Experience teaching business or technology skills, or professional experience in a business/IT role.
- Knowledge of one or more of the following:
- Business Operations
- Human Resources
- Marketing
- Finance
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Project Management
- Information Technology
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and foster an inclusive learning environment.
Physical Requirements
This role may involve standing, sitting, speaking loudly and clearly, and using classroom tools such as computers, projectors, and whiteboards. It also requires close visual acuity for reviewing assignments, analyzing data, and working on a computer. Most work environments are climate-controlled with open-space layouts.
