Genesis10 is currently seeking a Full Stack Java Developer for a hybrid position (3 days per week) with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 month contract opportunity.
We are seeking a talented Full Stack Developer with strong Java programming skills and front-end experience with Node.js & React.js. This role will support the development, release, and production deployment of iOS and Android applications, and will be responsible for designing and building next-generation mobile applications. Duties may include collaborating with the design team for new application features, identifying and fixing application bottlenecks, maintaining the core code, and updating applications.

We are seeking a talented Full Stack Developer with strong Java programming skills and front-end experience with Node.js & React.js. Responsibilities:
- Writing Splunk Queries
- Ensuring quality and performance of the application to specifications
- Identifying potential problems and resolving application bottlenecks
- Fixing application bugs before the final release
- Publishing application on the App Store
- Designing and implementing application updates
- Maintaining the code and atomization of the application
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering
- 5 years of experience as a Full-stack developer with Java Programming as a primary skill
- Expert level Java web application developer with React.js and Node.js including Restful APIs
- Experience with Application Servers: Tomcat and WebSphere is a MUST
- Good exposure to JDBC and SQL queries
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts
- Good knowledge of Data structures and Algorithms
- Proficient in Swift, Objective-C, Web Services, Rest Services, Core Java, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, XML
- Experience designing web applications and JSON Services
- Knowledge/exposure of iOS and/or Android back-end services
- Knowledge of Apple and/or Android design principles and application interface guidelines
- Proficient in code versioning tools including Git and Bitbucket
Desired skills:
- Experience building deployment automation and release management tooling
- Knowledge of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices
- Familiarity with enterprise mobile application delivery processes
- Ability to operate effectively during critical production releases and incident situations
- Experience with continuous integration & Unit tests
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Swift, Kotlin, Python, or scripting experience
