Systems Architect
Position Summary
The Systems Architect provides technical architecture and implementation support for the Florida PALM ERP project. This role is responsible for system configuration, technical design, integration support, production issue resolution, and ensuring ERP solutions meet project requirements and technical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and support ERP system configurations, customizations, and technical solutions.
- Evaluate technical designs and recommend system improvements.
- Support data integration, testing, cutover, and production support activities.
- Troubleshoot production issues and participate in Hyper-Care and system stabilization.
- Develop technical documentation and perform knowledge transfer.
- Follow project standards and collaborate with project teams to deliver successful ERP solutions.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Five (5) years of ERP implementation or technical architecture experience.
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Visio.
- Experience using Smartsheet or other similar collaboration tools.
- Experience implementing PeopleSoft or Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (or legacy versions of this solution).
- Strong communication (verbal and written) skills and experience communicating with multiple levels, from leadership (CIO) to technical and functional staff.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with the State of FL or with other state governments similar in size in terms of annual budget.

- Data Cleansing and Conversion
- Data Integration
- System, integration, and end-user testing
- Cutover planning and execution
- Knowledge of PeopleTools 8.62 and fluid page development.
