Genesis Consulting is seeking a motivated, ambitious,
hardworking, and resourceful SAP S/4HANA Solution Architect for a Federal
client in the Washington, DC area. Join our team and utilize SAP technology to
configure, develop, deliver and support applications for our clients while
leveraging concepts of Lean, Agile, Kanban and SAFe. Our clients are some of

Duties and
Responsibilities:
Duties include but
may not be limited to:
- Responsible for leading
functional and technical architecture assessment and roadmap for S/4HANA to
determine best approach (system conversion or selective data transition)
- Conduct S/4HANA Migration
assessment for integration objects, data objects, data volume and sizing, UI/UX,
Analytics, conversion readiness, and system compatibility
- Determine
pre-configured industry best practice approaches using SAP S/4HANA for
application to the client’s financial management requirements
- Interface with the
business and IT client to analyze business processes, workflows, policies,
tables, objects, packages, data elements, programs, transactions etc.
- Actively participate
and contribute to Transition Planning, Project Governance, Architecture
Alignment, Project Planning, Staff Management, Integration, Project Kick-off
and Phase Initiation, Weekly Status, Development oversight
- Participate and
drive workshops and sessions around business process analysis, process
re-engineering and value chain analysis
- Understand business
needs and requirements, and to help develop and maintain the client
relationship
- Build stakeholder
consensus and ensure everyone is on the same page, in agreement, and can
understand the solution being proposed
- Prepare and make
presentations using MS PowerPoint and Visio to project stakeholders and
management
- Propose high level
solution architecture, with emphasis on integration architecture for migration
of SAP ECC 6.0 to SAP S/4HANA
- Identify the gaps
within the S/4HANA solution that will require customization/enhancement to meet
the client’s unique requirements
- Document
opportunities to optimize SAP solution using SAP user-experience tools
- Support development
and execution of a best-practice, scenario driven testing approach
- Support the
progression of the implementation plan, identifying business critical
capabilities, and managing integration and development dependencies
- Support the
development of a migration framework approach to extract, transform, validate,
enrich, and load legacy source data
- Lead functional
integration across all S/4HANA domains
- Lead the management
of sub teams, deliverables, schedule and dependencies
Requirements
Minimum
Qualifications/Experience:
- 10 years’ experience
SAP Finance Functional Implementation experience
- SAP S/4HANA Finance
Functional Solution Architecture experience
- At least 3 full cycle
S/4HANA implementations or integrations
- 4 years’ experience in
accounting and finance
- 3-5 Years in Public
Sector Federal Experience
- 3-5 Years’ experience SAP
Public Sector Management solution (FM, FI, GL, Procurement, Grantor, Master
Data, US Treasury)
- Strong S/4HANA Finance
expertise to provide expert level business process guidance on SAP requirements
and design
- Extensive experience
with Hana Cloud implementations / migrations
- Migration services
experience
- Supported migration path
from legacy system to S/4HANA
- Experience with SAP Readiness

Minimum Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree – Required
Required Certifications:
- S/4HANA Certification Required
- Other SAP, SAFe, Scrum certifications desired
