What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chiropractic Assistant position at Genesis Chiropractic?
Chiropractic Assistant works directly under the supervision of the Chiropractor to ensure the practice runs smoothly through various clinical tasks and administrative support. Chiropractic assistants should be friendly and professional at all times, organized and able to multi-task, a team player, and willing to learn.
The following duties and responsibilities include:
- Must be bilingual in Spanish to apply
- Must have some medical office experience
- Assist Chiropractor with patient therapy procedures
- Assist greeting patients, answer phones and schedule appointments
- Patient intake of personal and medical history
- Knowledge of health insurance, verifying benefits, and collecting payments
- Data entry and responding to emails
- Responsible for patient referrals and preparing patient files per attorney requests
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Communicating with various providers and/or attorney's regarding patient treatments
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy a plus but not required
- High School GED or equivalent
- Time management and able to multi-task within a busy environment
- Must be able to work Monday-Friday with office hours from 9:30 am-6:30pm with occasional days working past 6:30 pm
