Duties
- Lead end-to-end talent acquisition processes, including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and employee orientation to attract top talent.
- Develop and implement organizational design strategies that optimize workforce structure and efficiency.
- Manage employee performance evaluation systems and facilitate ongoing feedback to promote continuous improvement.
- Oversee benefits administration, payroll processing through platforms such as ADP, Paychex, or Workday, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Administer workers' compensation claims and OSHA safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
- Handle employee relations issues with transparency and fairness while mediating conflicts through effective conflict management techniques.
- Coordinate training & development programs to enhance skills and support career growth across all levels of staff.
- Ensure compliance with employment & labor laws, FMLA regulations, contracts, and other legal requirements.
- Utilize HRIS platforms like SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, UltiPro, or Ceridian for data collection, analysis, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
- Partner with senior leadership on strategic planning efforts including succession planning and human capital management initiatives.
- Lead change management projects to support organizational transformation efforts while maintaining employee engagement.
- Conduct regular employee evaluations and manage HR sourcing strategies to meet staffing needs effectively.
- Design and implement HR programs that enhance employee engagement and foster a positive workplace culture.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA standards, FMLA regulations, and workers' compensation procedures.
- Proven experience in supervising HR teams with strong leadership capabilities.
- Excellent negotiation skills paired with effective communication skills for engaging presentations and stakeholder management.
- Expertise in talent acquisition strategies including ATS platforms such as Taleo or iCIMS; proficiency in HRIS systems like Workday or Oracle HCM is preferred.
- Strong organizational design skills coupled with experience in process improvement initiatives to streamline HR operations.
- Demonstrated ability in performance management systems and employee evaluation processes to foster high performance.
- Skilled in training & development program creation to support ongoing employee growth.
- Adept at conflict management techniques to resolve workplace disputes constructively.
- Experience managing benefits administration using platforms such as Paylocity or UltiPro; budgeting capabilities are a plus.
- Data analysis skills for workforce planning and decision-making; familiarity with data collection tools is essential.
