Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dispatch Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our operations by effectively managing communications and coordinating responses to incidents. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
Duties
- Answering phone calls, assisting customers, tenants, and contractors with questions and complaints
- Signing in contractors, and signing out keys or equipment
- Inputting information into the call system
- Utilizing a radio to dispatch officers to incoming and pending calls
- Assigning reports and inputting reports into the reporting system
- Filing paperwork as assigned by the security director or mall manager
Requirements
- Must be able to multi-task and work well under pressure, sometimes in high stress situations
- Must possess strong listening and communication skills
- Must be able to take control of high stress calls while remaining calm and professional at all times
- Must be able to read, write and communicate the English language
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Email
- Experience in dispatching preferred, but not required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.25 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
