Generichem Corporation is hiring an experienced customer service representative for a full-time position in Towaco, NJ. Generichem takes pride in our high standards of customer service, you will be a key member of the team.
Responsibilities : Prompt and professional communication with customers regarding order entry and acknowledgments, order changes, and status updates, both by phone and by email.
Identify customer issues, complaints and rejections, and notify the management, as appropriate.
Work collaboratively with sales, warehouse, documentation support and accounting teams to best serve customers’ needs.
Applicants should have a can-do attitude, professional communication style, and stay calm when customers are upset. Problem-solving and multi-tasking should come naturally to you.
Requirements :
Ability to follow established company procedures, as well as specific customer procedures for freight and labeling.
Must be extremely detail oriented
Must have very good verbal and written communications skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft tools including Outlook, Word and Excel. Comfortable using new tools and apps.
High school diploma, GED or equivalent
This employee will be expected to report to our office in Towaco, NJ. Regular hours are 9-5 Monday through Friday. This position does not offer the option for remote work.
Salary : $37,000 - $42,000
