CAREGIVER / RESIDENT ASSISTANT Qualifications:
- Must be at least eighteen years of age
- caregive experience preferred but not necessary. CNA/STNA Bonus rate
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Pass criminal records check
- Meet physical requirements
CAREGIVER / RESIDENT ASSISTANT Job Responsibility Summary:
- Ensure that personal care and assistance with activities of daily living are performed in a timely and caring manner as outlined in the resident’s service plan. This includes aiding residents with dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, eating, and escorting as scheduled and as needed.
- Communicate effectively with nursing department, between shifts and with other departments. Report observations and changes in the resident to nurses.
- Perform monthly vitals and weights for each resident and record this information.
- Ensure resident trust and confidentiality.
- Ensure resident safety and help to provide a clean and sanitary environment.
- Adhere to Infection Control protocols, Facility Policies and Procedures, and Emergency Operations Plan at all times
