Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Paralegal or Legal Assistant to support attorneys and clients in both estate planning and estate administration matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft estate planning documents and correspondence from attorney templates and notes
- Prepare and manage estate settlement and probate matter files
- Collect, organize, and maintain client information and supporting documentation
- Enter and update client and matter data in our CRM and case management systems
- Communicate with clients professionally via phone, email, and in person
- Schedule appointments and coordinate client meetings
- Track deadlines and ensure timely follow-up on open matters
- Assist attorneys with general case preparation and administrative support
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a paralegal or legal assistant preferred
- Experience in estate planning, probate, or trust administration strongly preferred
- Strong drafting and document preparation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Experience using CRM or legal case management software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and organizational ability
- Professional, client-service-oriented demeanor
