Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and oversee all kitchen operations. The ideal candidate is a creative leader with a passion for high-quality cuisine, strong management skills, and a commitment to excellence in food preparation and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop creative menus including banquet and specials
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure efficiency
- Manage food costs, inventory, and supplier relationships
- Monthly inventory and inventory management
- Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff
- Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and quality control
- Collaborate with management on budgeting and strategic planning
- Stay within labor budget to insure probability of operation
- Ensure consistent presentation and taste across all dishes
- 3-year experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef
- 2-year experience with banquets and banquet operation
- In-depth knowledge of inventory management
- Proficient with Microsoft office
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work nights, weekend and holidays as needed
- Culinary degree preferred or equivalent experience
