Receptionist

The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact at Generation Church, creating a warm, welcoming, and organized environment. This full-time in office role provides administrative support, manages incoming calls and visitors, and helps ensure smooth daily operations at the church office. The Receptionist plays an important role in reflecting the heart, culture, and professionalism of Generation Church through hospitality, communication, and attention to detail.

• Lives as an example others would want to follow and demonstrates health and stability personally, spiritually, physically, financially, and relationally.
• Is an undeniable hard worker who gets the job done and steps in to help rather than standing by.
• Lives out and protects the culture and values of Generation Church.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Friendly, welcoming demeanor with a heart for hospitality
• Proficient in basic computer programs (email, calendars, documents, spreadsheets)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and interruptions with grace
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• Agrees and aligns with the mission, vision, leadership, values, and doctrinal beliefs of Generation Church

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience that equips them for working in a ministry environment
• Experience with church management software (Planning Center)
• Familiarity with office equipment and basic troubleshooting
• Experience supporting multiple staff members or departments
• Ability to anticipate needs and take initiative without constant direction
