Your Impact
The primary functions of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Manage all new and used vehicle inventory operations for a busy Ford dealership
- Monitor Ford allocations, incoming units, scheduled orders, and vehicle pipeline activity
- Work closely with management on vehicle ordering strategies based on market demand, turn rates, and inventory objectives
- Coordinate dealer trades, vehicle transfers, and incoming shipments to maintain proper inventory levels
- Track incoming units, sold units, aging inventory, and vehicle availability daily
- Ensure all vehicles are properly stocked in inventory systems and accurately reflected online
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle locations, pricing, status, and fleet assignments
- Oversee fleet inventory including service loaners, demos, and company vehicles
- Assist with Ford inventory systems, factory communications, and manufacturer reporting requirements
- Monitor aging reports and help implement strategies to improve inventory turn and reduce aged units
- Conduct regular lot audits to ensure inventory accuracy and proper vehicle placement
- Ensure vehicles are properly merchandised, frontline ready, and prepared for delivery
- Coordinate transportation and deliveries between locations when necessary
- Work closely with Sales, Service, Accounting, and Management teams to support daily dealership operations
- Assist with registrations, titles, plates, and fleet documentation when needed
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies and maintain organized reporting for management review
- Ensure compliance with company policies and manufacturer inventory standards
- Prior Ford dealership experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Ford inventory systems, allocations, and vehicle ordering processes preferred
- CDK DMS experience a plus
- Punctual, dependable, and highly organized
- Strong understanding of dealership inventory operations and vehicle flow management
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume automotive environment
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively
- Comfortable analyzing inventory reports, aging data, and stock levels
- Strong communication and coordination skills across multiple departments
- Proficient with dealership software, spreadsheets, and inventory management systems
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional demeanor with strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred
