RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies
- Test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment; test drive vehicles
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems. Diagnosing problem(s) is A MUST
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Complete online multi-point inspection report
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
- Document work performed
- Learn new information and techniques in training sessions
- Keep your work area clean
- Other duties may be assigned according to expertise and certifications
REQUIREMENTS:
- GMC Certification preferred
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as an auto technician
- Experience with latest automotive technologies
- Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment systems, diagnostic equipment, A/C equipment etc.
- Flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
- Are a fast learner
- Are a team player
- Are computer literate
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Have a High School Diploma
- Perform high quality and efficient repair service in accordance with Generation Buick GMC and Factory standards
