Job Description Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as onsite. this means the successful candidate to report to the GM office full time. The Role: The Demand Planning Manager leads demand and supply alignment activities to ensure customer demand is met through accurate forecasting, capacity planning, schedule stability, and cross-functional execution. What You'll Do: Lead demand and supply alignment activities to support customer demand requirements while improving schedule stability and overall operational performance. Improve demand forecasting for models, options, and parts through structured planning processes and stronger forecast accuracy management. Integrate component and vehicle capacity planning into demand planning to ensure supply readiness across current and future programs. Execute monthly demand and supply alignment processes, balancing sales demand with manufacturing and supply base capabilities. Lead cross-functional reviews to identify capacity gaps, supply constraints, unmet demand risks, and required allocation alternatives. Develop and maintain planning metrics, reporting, and analytics that support data-driven decisions and performance trade-off evaluation. Identify process gaps across the demand and supply planning workflow and lead continuous improvement initiatives to close them. Reduce manual work and improve process efficiency through automation, systems integration, and single-source data solutions. follow up and track crippled units on a weekly basis Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualification) Educational and Experience Background: Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain, Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business, or a related field. 4 ~ 6 years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, production planning, scheduling, industrial engineering, or operational excellence. Technical Skills Demand forecasting and forecast accuracy improvement. Demand and supply alignment. Capacity planning at vehicle and component level. Scheduling and S&OP process support. Microsoft Office, Power Apps / ERP (SAP) Competencies Strong cross-functional collaboration across manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, purchasing, and program teams. Clear and effective communication of planning insights, risks, and recommendations. Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
