Key Responsibilities
- Supervise tool room activities to ensure safety, quality, and productivity.
- Plan labor and coordinate schedules to meet production goals.
- Approve die and fixture designs and maintain accurate CAD documentation.
- Maintain clear identification and storage of tools, fixtures, and materials.
- Manage preventative maintenance for all department tools and machines.
- Collaborate with engineers, production, and purchasing to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Recommend equipment upgrades and oversee subcontracted work as needed.
- Support apprenticeship training and evaluate employee development.
- Use ERP systems to manage jobs, materials, and bills of material.
- Provide cost estimates for new or modified tooling projects.
Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
