General Description
The Purchasing Manager is charged with the responsibility for managing and optimizing our materials supply chain, ensuring delivery of materials, steel, supplies, and services enabling the company to meet internal needs and customer specifications cost effectively. The Purchasing Manager will maintain the appropriate levels of inventory to keep production running smoothly and avoid late deliveries.
Organizational Relationships and Authority
The Purchasing Manager reports directly to the Director of Operations. There are currently no direct reports to this position; however, the Purchasing Manager will work closely with and on cross-functional teams and direct reports could include positions such as MRO Buyer as business needs dictate.
