Job Description:

As a member of our Engineered Sales Team, you will be responsible for designing, promoting, selling, and distributing a wide range of industrial equipment: Pumps, Blowers, Vacuum Pumps, Repair Parts, and other related equipment. We work in a multitude of industries: Water, Wastewater, Food & Bev, Pharmaceuticals, Lubrication, Oil & Gas, and more. You will build strong relationships with customers of all levels, understand their needs, and provide solutions that meet their requirements. This position will include customer site visits, quotes and sales, Equipment sizing and recommendations, Troubleshooting, providing technical solutions to customer problems, and more. You will constantly be learning and getting practical on the job experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical and mechanical background along with excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales and Distribution: Actively promote and sell industrial equipment to customers across different markets, ensuring a thorough understanding of their applications and needs
• Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and finding new customers, while providing exceptional customer service and support
• Equipment Technical Support: Offer technical assistance to clients, including installation guidance, troubleshooting, finding technical documents, and product maintenance tips
• Market Analysis: Stay informed about new technology in the market, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and ensure continued growth
• Collaboration: Work closely with our team to learn and create new opportunities for General Repair
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and product feedback

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in industrial sales, preferably in pump distribution or related fields. (Preferred)
• Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and documents
• Technical knowledge of pump, air, and/or hydraulic systems and applications. (Preferred)
• Math or Engineering background (Preferred)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with customers
• Time management skills and self-motivated attitude
• Proficient in internet and computer usage
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Proficient in email communication
• Organization of electronic files
• Ability to use and manage a digital calendar
• Ability to travel as required for customer site visits, meetings, trainings and other industry events
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to work in a team atmosphere

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
