Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Taft, CA for a Leave of Absence Coordinator. The Leave of Absence Coordinator will manage all aspects of employee leaves, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include processing leave requests, maintaining accurate documentation, collaborating with employees and HR team members, and providing guidance on leave-related procedures. The coordinator will also act as a point of contact for leave-related inquiries and support efforts to align leave processes with organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, including document management and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of leave administration, including FMLA, ADA, and state-specific leave laws.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with employees, managers, and other stakeholders.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills to address leave-related issues and ensure compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HR software systems such as Paycom and ADP is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Prior experience in leave administration, HR, or a related field is preferred.
- LOA Coordinator will support othet Human Resource functions such as audits/reconciling, report writing, benefit administration and other functions as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
- Compensation: $25 to $27 an hour DOE.
