Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Project Coordinator to join our construction management team. The ideal candidate will facilitate project execution by coordinating activities, managing schedules, and ensuring seamless communication .This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, project management, good handwriting and technical schematics. The Project Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting project teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget. Experience with construction estimating, site management, and blueprint reading is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules .
- Coordinate between project teams, contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth workflow
- Monitor project progress and update schedules accordingly to meet deadlines
- Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure compliance with project specifications
- Support construction site activities by tracking milestones and managing documentation
- Facilitate communication of project updates and issues to owner .
- Assist in preparing construction estimates
- Manage project documentation including change orders, RFIs, submittals, and reports
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards on-site
- Support contract administration and compliance activities
Experience
- Proven experience in construction management or project coordination within the construction industry
- Familiarity with construction estimating
- Proficiency in project scheduling .
- Experience with construction site management, blueprint reading, and schematics interpretation
- Knowledge of civil 3D, ProCore, Bluebeam, and other construction management software is preferred
- Strong understanding of contracts, construction estimating, and project documentation processes
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
- Prior experience is helpful.
