Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Gage maker, borescope, profilometer, operate CMM.
- Adheres to all company quality, safety policies/procedures and maintains a clean working environment.
- Working from verbal or written instructions, quality standards, and/or other quality documents.
- Dimensionally inspects machined parts using a variety of measuring and gauging instruments.
- Performs incoming, in-process and final inspection to ensure customer quality standards are met.
- Generates, maintains, and logs inspection data. Generates and communicates NCRs when standards are not met.
- Initiates and maintains positive interaction between quality and production leadership.
- Ensures all measuring equipment is calibrated, kept clean and stored in a manner that protects it from damage.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by quality leadership.
- Able to read and write English.
- Must be proficient in the use of calipers (dial, digital, depth), tape measure, plug gages, and thread gages,

- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
- Must be proficient in visual inspection.
- Must be able to obtain required job-related documents from ERP including PO, ITP, BOM.
- Must be able to log labor, transfer parts, and issue parts to work order in Data Collect system.
- Must be able to obtain and interpret copies of MTRs, CoCs, and vendor inspection data for conformance.
- Able to properly complete customer required documentation.
- Verify label and packaging compliance to customer requirements.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Exposure to loud and sometimes excessive noise levels.
- Exposure to particulate contaminants.
- Able to stand, crouch, and bend for long periods of time.
- Must always wear appropriate PPE in working areas.
