GPS is recruiting on behalf of an A rated insurance carrier. They seek to hire an Actuary to analyze data and develop rating methods to improve underwriting results. In this role, you will:
- Utilize advanced methods to maximize underwriting results
- Planning loss adjustments ratios with underwriting leaders
- Perform advanced analytics and modeling techniques
- Generate monthly reports
- Travel occasionally
To be qualified, you must have:
- 5 years of experience in a data related role involving information systems
- 2 years of pricing experience with Excess & Surplus, General Liability, or Professional Liability insurance
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- ACAS designation at minimum
- Experience with VBA & SQL
