We are looking for dedicated, motivated, and organized Research and Development Administrative Support to join our team. This role is for an organized tech savvy self-starter and it is essential by supporting and assisting the Research & Development department with administrative work and organizational tasks on a day-to-day basis, with a focus on capability assessment documentation. You will need to be diligent and responsive, take initiative, work well independently, maintain a positive attitude and strive to maintain the company's culture. Excellent communication, computer and problem-solving skills, and a willingness to work alongside with other members throughout other departments. The Research and Development Administrative Support will be exposed to a variety of knowledge involving aircraft components, mechanical tools and equipment, hardware, and the use of data entry software. Essential Duties:
- Organize inventory using various stock organization software.
- Data entry for Capabilities Assessment Forms.
- Assist in the research of products and equipment needed to fulfill aircraft components’ testing, repair, and overhaul requirements.
- Assist in creating inventory and organizational systems.
- Work alongside Machine Shop and give guidance/clarification as needed
Education:
· High School Diploma
Experience:
· Aviation/Aerospace: 1 year (Preferred)
· Knowledge in capability assessment documents.
· Hands-on experience with mechanical tools and equipment. (Highly preferred)

Experience:
- Solid computer skills with exceptional knowledge of Excel.
- Decision-making: ability to make independent decisions on a daily basis, addressing the best way to handle specific tasks.
- Organization and prioritization are the core elements of the position. Must know how to keep themselves and others organized and how to determine which tasks are the most important in a given list.
- Interest in new technologies (for aerospace, electronics, manufacturing, software, etc.)
Skills:
- Solid problem-solving skills.
- Strong oral communication skills and good listening skills.
- Ability to perform focused work with close attention to detail.
- Ability to interact with others, both in person and through phone, e-mail, and written correspondence.
- Strong written communication skills. Spelling, sentence structure and writing are essential from creative to professional to technical and more.
- The person will need to walk and lift more than 15 lbs.
Qualification:
- High School Diploma Required.
- Administrative Support experience. (Preferred)
- Microsoft Office (specifically Word and Excel).
- Experience with capability assessment documentation (Preferred).
- Detail-oriented.
- Adept at hands-on, mechanically oriented projects (Highly preferred).
- Ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Ability to work independently.
