We're a veteran team, with one successful exit already, who've been doing deep learning in the legal space since long before ChatGPT.

General Legal is seeking a founding engineer with full end to end product engineering experience. This is our first technical hire who is responsible for building the initial product, owning the tech stack, and partnering closely with the founders on product and company direction. This is a unique opportunity to join us at the ground level and play a foundational role in developing a platform that will set new standards for engineers. There will be opportunity to grow your role as the company grows, either as an independent contributor or as an engineering manager.

Responsibilities
- Designs, builds, and maintains the first versions of the product and underlying systems
- Own the development of robust, scalable software solutions that will serve as the backbone of our platform
- 5 years of experience in software engineering
- Computer Science Degree or equivalent
- Eligible to work in US
- Experience working at a startup
- Experience in the legal tech space
Salary : $180,000 - $250,000
