Truss Assembler

General Labor Services is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling and fabricating various components in a fast-paced environment. The Assembler will play a crucial role in ensuring that products meet quality standards and are completed efficiently.

Duties:

• Assemble components according to specifications and blueprints, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Utilize power tools and machinery safely and effectively to fabricate parts.
• Handle materials appropriately during the assembly process, maintaining organization within the workspace.
• Perform routine inspections of assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and address any assembly challenges.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following established safety protocols.
• Operate forklifts as needed for moving materials within the warehouse.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Assembler or in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in using power tools and equipment safely.
• Experience with carpentry, millwork, machining, or related fields is highly desirable.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Scheduled:

Monday- Thursday 5:00am-3:30pm

Monday- Thursday 3:30pm-2:00am

Pay Rate:

$17.00-$18.00 Depending on shift
