Job Overview
This job consists of giving customers an ultimate experience through great service and enthusiasm. We are looking for a motivated salesperson to work directly with customers, vendors, and coworkers in the building material industry. Experience is NOT required.
Duties
- Check out customers at the counter
- Communicate with customers effectively to schedule deliveries, give updates, and take orders
- Call vendors to place orders and obtain pricing, lead times, and availability
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities.
- Provide technical sales support by understanding product features and benefits relevant to customer needs.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
Qualifications
- Experience is preferred but NOT required
- Proven experience in retail sales and working directly with people
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation with a focus on building long-term relationships.
