Role Description
We are seeking a full time Mechanical Engineer to work in our Sandusky, Ohio facility. This role requires developing and preparing detailed fabrication and assembly drawings of GFC’s custom Paint Finishing Equipment. We work with customers both nationally and internationally.
Responsibilities:
· Preparing detailed fabrication and assembly drawings of GFC’s custom equipment.
· Preparing Bill of Materials, estimating and purchasing materials and components
· Assisting in the preparation of GFC’s equipment operation and maintenance manuals.
· Provide technical assistance to both the manufacturing shop and installation crews.
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· High school diploma required
· 2 year technical associate degree – Minimum
· 4 year engineering bachelor degree – preferred
· Must be proficient with either AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks experience
· Microsoft Office experience with an emphasis on Excel & Word
· Must be organized, and able to meet project deadlines
· Work independently and in a group setting
