Responsibilities Include
- Performance measurement and variance analysis; including Cost Account Plans
- Communication with Cost Account Managers and department Directors
- Budget development and maintenance
- Estimate at Complete review
- Create and update daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
- Manpower Plan and Operating Plan development
- Input to Finance Systems for Indicated Profit, Sales Orders and Backlog
- Bi-weekly construction progressing
- Preparation of billing instructions for submittal to Cash Management
- Preparation of cost reports to support both internal and external customers
- Shop Order control
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Mathematics, Economics, or Statistics/Analysis
- 2 years of related experience
- Prior Electric Boat experience/internship
- Earned Value Management experience
- Experience in Government contract cost control
- Experience with EB Systems (Mainframe, MRPII, Purchasing and Inventory, Oracle)
- Experience reporting and analyzing financial data
- Experience with Power BI
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas) and PowerPoint
- Must be interested in and capable of analyzing large sets of data with minimal supervision
- Analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels of management
- Ability to work collaboratively with others
