Duties And Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and translate them into actionable technical requirements.
- Define and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and data governance principles.
- Develop business stories that clearly articulate key decisions and insights derived from data.
- Partner with stakeholders to assess current systems and processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units to ensure seamless execution of data-driven solutions.
- Support the design and implementation of reporting frameworks that drive business intelligence and decision-making.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security in alignment with governance standards.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of systems and analytics tools, recommending enhancements as needed.
- Provide training and documentation to end-users to maximize the adoption and effectiveness of Power BI solutions.
- Additional Functions Other duties as assigned or required.
- We operate on a 9x80 schedule with every other Friday off
Job Qualifications
- Typically requires a Bachelors degree in a related field and ten or more years experience as a business process analyst working with computerized management systems to include, but not limited to, product life cycle systems. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
- Proven experience in business systems analysis, data analytics, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of business processes and workflows, with the ability to translate them into technical solutions.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering, documentation, and process mapping.
- Solid understanding of SQL and ability to work with relational databases.
- Familiarity with data visualization best practices and principles to deliver effective and user-friendly dashboards (e.g., Power BI).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to drive innovation and optimize business performance through data-driven approaches.
- Must be customer focused and able to work on a self-initiated basis or in a team environment and able to work extended hours and travel as required.
- Experience working with SAP data structures, tables, and processes.
- Familiarity with Azure data services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics) and cloud-based data solutions.
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices for ensuring data integrity and security.
- Understanding of statistical methods and techniques for analyzing and visualizing data trends.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools for project management (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
