Business Process Analyst

Position Summary: This role requires cross-functional collaboration with Project Managers, R&D, Finance, and functional leaders to build budgets and resource plans to support studies throughout the project life cycle.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Partner with Project Management and R&D support functions to build an optimal portfolio in support of financial constraints and future pipeline
• Facilitate the transition to new financial and portfolio management IS solutions.
• Work collaboratively with Finance to drive the Annual Plan and Quarterly Financial Forecasts to support business requirements and timeline.
• Support the 5-Year Strategic Plan to determine the best study portfolio within financial targets.
• Support with management of portfolio financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and actual tracking.
• Participate in budget development and evaluate how portfolio and project plan changes impact cost and schedule.
• Provide reporting to key stakeholder areas as requested. Communicate and influence rthe esolution of cross functional budgets or capacity issues.
• Facilitate the use of data and analytics to build consensus and support strategic decisions around the Portfolio.
• Provide headcount reporting and analysis. Establish effective, collaborative working relationships maximize Portfolio efficiency, responsiveness and resource allocation.
• Develop processes, metrics, and best practices for improved portfolio management and planning
• Develop models and contribute to presentations for senior management.
• Create guidelines for best practice for Project Managers/Functional Managers' benefits, as needed.
• Supports other business initiatives as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree and 4 years of Project and/or Site/Operations Management experience. MS degree with 3 or more years of experience.
• Minimum 2 years' experience with operational/budgeting/metrics development, data analytics, and continued improvement of metrics for internal use.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships across a matrixed organization and diverse geographic regions.
• Skilled in identifying complex business challenges and developing comprehensive, long-term strategic solutions to address them

Preferred:

• Demonstrated ability to distil complex concepts, strategies, and information into a clear and actionable business plan
• Proficiency in Planisware, PPMS, or AI- based portfolio analysis tools is preferred
• Preferred experience as an internal consultant supporting business line stakeholders, ideally within the medical device industry
