DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Technical Leadership & Program Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the work of a team of RAM engineers supporting customer requirements for multiple platform-specific contracts
- Support RAM analysis of our Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) programs
- Provide expert guidance on complex engineering challenges and drive innovative solutions
- Establish design concepts, criteria, and engineering approaches for product research, development, testing, and integration
- Act as the primary technical contact for RAM engineering activities with internal teams and external stakeholders at various levels
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate work assignments to meet program objectives
- Monitor project schedules, timelines, and deliverables using standard project management tools and engineering systems
- Lead progress reviews to assess cost, schedule, and technical performance
- Proactively identify engineering issues and develop solutions, including resource reallocation or contract specification modifications
- Support Earned Value Management (EVM) processes to ensure budget and schedule compliance
- Support design assurance processes and milestone reviews (PDRs, CDRs) through presentation development and technical briefings
- Anticipate future engineering needs and recommend modifications to achieve technical goals
- Participate in proposal preparation, business planning, and development of work statements and specifications, operating budgets of contracts
- Contribute to the development of annual and long-term technical, schedule, quality, and financial objectives and drive process improvement initiatives
- Support new business opportunities and expansion of existing programs
- Attract, develop, and retain top engineering talent
- Manage team performance through regular feedback, coaching, and development of SMART goals aligned with organizational objectives
- Foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement
- Ensure all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations are observed wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company

Job Qualifications
- Typically requires a bachelors degree, masters degree or PhD in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and progressive engineering experience as follows; four or more years of experience with a bachelors degree or two or more years of experience with a masters degree. May substitute equivalent engineering experience in lieu of education.
- Knowledge of Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) engineering principles and practices
- Proven leadership experience leading engineering teams and managing project schedules
- Self-starter with proactive, go-getter attitude and strong drive to take initiative and deliver results
- Strong communication, leadership, and presentation skills to effectively interface with all levels of management, technical staff, customers, and government representatives
- Customer-focused mindset with ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Flexibility to work extended hours and travel as required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
Technical Experience:
- Demonstrated technical expertise in engineering principles, concepts, and theory
- Proven ability to resolve complex technical and management problems
- Project management skills including organizing, planning, scheduling, and coordinating workloads to meet deadlines
- Experience with Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), including Ground Control Stations (GCS)
- Background in RAM Program Planning, Reliability and Maintainability Models, and Reliability Block Diagrams (RBDs), and RAM requirements
- Knowledge of Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
- Experience with Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Reliability Growth Analysis
- Familiarity with industry standards and specifications such as:
- MIL-STD-882E (System Safety)
- MIL-STD-1629A (FMECA)
- MIL-HDBK-217F or RIAC-HDBK-217Plus (Reliability Prediction)
- MIL-HDBK-472 (Maintainability Prediction)
- NAVAIR 00-25-403 (Reliability-Centered Maintenance)
- Experience providing RAM support for design assurance processes and milestone reviews (PDRs, CDRs)
- Ability to assess reliability performance through system life cycle and provide trend analysis
- Experience developing and monitoring reliability growth programs
- Participation in US Government scoring boards
- Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) processes
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and act as a prime technical contact for the organization
- Experience mentoring and developing engineering talent
- Track record of representing organizations in customer-facing technical discussions
