The Service Writer is responsible for working cross-functionally to develop customer proposals. This person owns the service repair proposal process from start to finish by guiding the customer through the repair process and offering the most effective solution to the problem. The inside sales representative should follow up on all active proposals promptly.

Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications and geographic location. This role is eligible for variable compensation including short-term and long-term incentives.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensure all service repair proposals meet the minimum expected margins.
- Foster and maintain a professional relationship with the operations team, service supervisors, and technicians to ensure high customer service and communication when supporting recommendations.
- Ensure all sales follow-up activities occur within 2 business days of the initial proposal.
- Own the sales cycle process from recommendations on the dashboard to handoff to Service Operations. This includes the necessary follow-up with all stakeholders.
- As assigned by the Service Manager, capture upselling and cross-selling opportunities that include, but aren’t limited to the following, remote monitoring, rentals, load bank testing, fuel polishing, fluid sampling, or maintenance solutions.
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years' experience in customer facing environment
- Associates degree
- 3-4 years' in customer facing environment
