Pay Rate: $22.85 per hour $1.50 Lead Premium

About the Role
Generac in Jefferson HUB is looking for a Kitting Lead (Material Handler III) who brings strong organization, sharp attention to detail, and a sense of urgency to ensure kits are assembled accurately and efficiently every time. This role is central to daily operations and involves active, hands-on work, including jumping in to pack and support the team whenever needed.
You will oversee approximately 3 team members, helping drive workflow, quality, and productivity while supporting continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do
- Lead daily kitting operations to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely completion of orders
- Work side‑by‑side with your team—packing, organizing, and problem‑solving as needed
- Process orders using computer systems; SAP experience is a plus
- Communicate clearly with operations, leadership, and other departments
- Learn the workflow quickly and identify opportunities for improvement
- Help develop and document processes and procedures to drive efficiency
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Highly detail‑oriented with a strong work ethic and sense of urgency
- Comfortable in a hands-on, physical operations environment
- Computer literate; able to process orders with accuracy
- SAP experience preferred
- Strong communication and people skills
- Ability to understand workflows and help drive the most efficient processes
- Experience developing processes/procedures is a plus
- Prior experience leading small teams (approximately 3 direct reports)

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee frequently is required to use hands to manipulate objects, tools or controls and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to walk; stoop; crouch; bend and reach above shoulders. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance, waist high, up to 10 feet away. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception. Temperatures can vary from cool to warm depending upon the season. The employee must comply with the assigned location PPE requirements including but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection, appropriate gloves, clothing and shields for required tasks and closed toed or safety shoes as required by facility safety policies.
