What You’ll Do
- Perform preventative maintenance on generators
- Diagnostics and repairs of mechanical and electrical systems on generators
- Service/repair generators, change air filters, change oil, check battery levels, check spark plugs, etc.
- Involved in installation hook-up of home standby generators
- When necessary, provide after-hour emergency troubleshooting/repairs
- Work independently or with a small crew
- 2 years working on generators in the residential or commercial setting
- Air/liquid cooled certificate is preferred. (Generac, Kohler, Briggs and Stratton, Cummins, etc..)
- Small engine repairs
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently
- Valid driver’s license
- This job is with an independent Generac channel partner and not for employment with Generac Power Systems, Inc.
