We are looking for a CNC Programmer at our Eagle, WI facility!
The Programmer is responsible for the creation and maintenance of programs for turret punch, laser cutting machines, and dimension flats.
Responsibilities
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job include are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus.
The Programmer is responsible for the creation and maintenance of programs for turret punch, laser cutting machines, and dimension flats.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain programs for each piece of blanking and welding equipment.
- Maintains and/or changes the floor routings and BOMs required for processing the parts through the sheet metal department.
- Resolve programming issues.
- H. S. Diploma
- Must be at least 18 years old to work in a manufacturing environment
- Technical School/Associate Degree
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and prints
- Ability to interact effectively with both production and engineering employees
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and PDM/ERP systems (AS/400, iSeries, MAPICS)
- Demonstrated knowledge of creating AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or ProE
- Proficient in SigmaNest, Striker, and G-code/M-code
- Demonstrated knowledge of fabrication sheet metal processes including punch press, brake press, laser, and CNC)
