Seasonal Assembler - 1st Shift

Generac in Jefferson, WI is NOW HIRING Seasonal Assemblers on 1st Shift!

This team is willing to train those with limited experience as long as you have a great attitude and dedication towards the work!

Location: 900 N Parkway St, Jefferson, WI 53549

Hours: 5:00am-3:00pm Monday-Thursday

Pay Rate: $18.85 per hour

What You'll Do:

• Assemble generator components with precision, following schematics, blueprints, and work instructions in a cost effective and timely manner while fulfilling quality standards.
• Validate material prior to beginning assembly, review work instructions, build product per specifications and within tolerances.
• Comply with quality, safety, work rules and regulations including wearing all appropriate PPE.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, complete all clean-up and housekeeping procedures.

What You Bring:

• Experience: No experience required because we’re willing to train the right candidate! But previous assembly or manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Physical Ability: Capable of standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and using hand tools for extended periods.
• Attention to Detail: Accuracy and focus on quality in every task.
• Team Spirit: Positive attitude and ability to work effectively with others.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee frequently is required to use hands to manipulate objects, tools or controls and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to walk; stoop; crouch; bend and reach above shoulders. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance, waist high, up to 10 feet away. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception. Temperatures can vary from cool to warm depending upon the season. The employee must comply with the assigned location PPE requirements including but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection, appropriate gloves, clothing and shields for required tasks and closed toed or safety shoes as required by facility safety policies.
