What you'll do:
- Perform mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and repair of generators during normal working hours and after hours
- Detect faulty operations, defective material and report them and any other unusual situations to the service manager in a timely manner
- Stays current on NFPA and State regulations for EPSS
- Travel around local area for service calls, on-call rotation with 50% travel (25% overnight)
- Create reports for all work performed in ERP system FieldServio
What you'll bring:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 4 years servicing and troubleshooting emergency power supply systems (EPSS)
- Modular Power Systems (MPS) certification or equivalent training
- Working knowledge of mechanical design, AC and DC circuitry, power generation, wiring schematics, and connection diagrams
- Advanced knowledge of Engine maintenance and troubleshooting of natural gas or diesel fuel systems.
- Valid driver's license
