1st Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Starting Wage: $20.35/hour
Job Location: 351 Collins Rd, Jefferson, WI 53549
What You’ll Do
As an Inventory Control Specialist, you’ll play a key role in keeping our distribution operations running smoothly. You’ll be responsible for tracking inventory and stock changes, ensuring accuracy and organization across all materials and products.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory records within the warehouse system
- Verifying part quantities and ensuring raw materials are in the correct locations
- Inspecting incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality
- Investigating and reconciling inventory discrepancies
- Supporting management with data insights and recommendations for process improvements
This position works hands-on in the warehouse, collaborating closely with logistics, production, and quality teams to ensure materials are where they need to be — when they need to be.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics (manufacturing experience a plus!)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with inventory management systems or ERP software preferred
- Commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 6 months of experience in a manufacturing or comparable work environment with inventory control responsibilities
- Understanding of the cycle count process
- Ability to perform counts and adjustments in SAP as needed
- Ability to effectively communicate via email with other plant locations
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment
- Strong organizational skills
- Able to work independently and efficiently

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee frequently is required to use hands to manipulate objects, tools or controls and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to walk; stoop; crouch; bend and reach above shoulders. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance, waist high, up to 10 feet away. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception. Temperatures can vary from cool to warm depending upon the season. The employee must comply with the assigned location PPE requirements including but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection, appropriate gloves, clothing and shields for required tasks and closed toed or safety shoes as required by facility safety policies.
