What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant - Bilingual position at GeneID Lab?
Job Opportunity: We are looking for a Medical Assistant to work in a busy physician's office on behalf of our lab conducting genetic testing.
This would involve speaking to each patient that comes into the office, utilizing our iPad based questionnaire to see if the patient qualifies for the test, then filling out the paper work and collecting the DNA sample (this is just a mouthwash swish...no blood).
Our tests assess both Cancer Risk and tell patients who want to have children if they have a Genetic Mutation that they could pass down to their children. So YOU can really make a difference in patient lives.
We offer hourly pay of $17-$21 dollars and provide full health benefits and paid training!
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1-2 years working in a fast paced office
- Must have strong patient interaction skills
- Certification preferred but NOT required
- Bilingual Spanish
