Job Overview
Full-time On-Site Construction Management Representative (CMR) to oversee the historic rehabilitation of the Greyhound Bus Depot and Mural Building at the Freedom Riders National Monument.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Inspection & Safety: Conduct daily site walks to monitor progress, historic preservation standards, quality, and site safety compliance.
- Documentation & Admin: Log daily photo reports and process submittals, RFIs, and certified payrolls using Procore or ProjectTeam.
- Cost, Schedule & QA: Review monthly schedule updates, evaluate cost estimates for scope changes, analyze TIAs, and lead 3-phase quality control inspections.
- Meetings: Facilitate weekly progress meetings and record official negotiation notes.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs, and engineering drawings.
- Software: Proficient in Procore/ProjectTeam, MS Project, Excel, Word, and Adobe PDF.
- Cost & Schedule: Experience with construction cost estimating (e.g., RS Means, PlanSwift) and schedule evaluation.
- Certification: Current OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety training.
- Physical: Daily walking and climbing on-site required
