What are the responsibilities and job description for the GTM, Community & Social Associate position at Gen?
Neo is growing fast, and we’re hiring a high-potential GTM, Community & Social Associate to help keep momentum compounding. This is a junior, high-ownership role focused on community, social execution, and creator/GTM operations. You’ll help Neo show up consistently where our users are, capture real feedback, and turn that energy into growth.
You’ll work closely with the Chief AI Officer and marketing executives using AI tools to move faster and produce high-quality output.

You’ll work closely with the Chief AI Officer and marketing executives using AI tools to move faster and produce high-quality output.
What You’ll Do:
Community (primary)
- Be a daily presence in Neo’s communities (Discord/Reddit and other channels as we expand)
- Welcome new members, answer questions, escalate issues, and keep the vibe positive and helpful
- Post prompts, polls, and updates that drive engagement and learning
- Capture user feedback/pain points and summarize themes weekly into clear, actionable insights
- Support community activations (feedback drives, AMAs, creator spotlights, “what’s new” drops)
- Help run Neo’s day-to-day social cadence across platforms (e.g., X, TikTok/Shorts repurposing, LinkedIn—depending on where we focus)
- Turn product updates, learnings, and creator content into short, punchy posts
- Repurpose creator videos into social clips and threads (with AI support), and keep an organized content calendar
- Monitor replies/mentions, engage appropriately, and surface recurring questions/topics to the team
- Track what resonates (formats, hooks, themes) and build a simple “what works” playbook
- Support creator pipeline ops: sourcing support, outreach, follow-ups, briefs, timelines, deliverables
- Help package winning creator content into reusable assets for community social landing pages
- Track performance and learnings: what content drives installs, activation, and retention signals
- Assist with messaging iteration across landing pages, email, and in-product prompts
- Run small experiments weekly (post formats, hooks, CTAs, referral asks) and document outcomes
- Maintain lightweight dashboards/trackers (community health, social growth, creator pipeline status)
- Community feels active, responsive, and well-run with consistent engagement
- Social cadence is consistent and improving (more signal, less noise)
- Feedback and insights are captured and turned into clear action items
- Creator social community content starts compounding through repurposing and repeatable formats
- 0–3 years experience in community, social, growth, marketing, or ops (or equivalent proof through work)
- Strong writing taste: you can make things clear, short, and compelling
- High reliability and follow-through; you don’t drop threads
- Comfortable working in public channels with good judgment
- AI-native: you use ChatGPT and other tools to draft, repurpose, summarize, and accelerate output
- Comfortable with lightweight metrics (engagement, CTR, growth trends) and learning loops
- Discord/Reddit community experience
- Creator/influencer program exposure (YouTube is a plus)
- Experience repurposing long-form into Shorts/TikTok clips
- Familiarity with PLG motions (activation, retention, referrals)
