Job Summary
Locally owned Generac generator dealer looking for a full time service technician to join our team.
Job duties to include performing preventative maintenance, diagnosis and repair of standby generators.
We provide our technicians with a vehicle outfitted to best serve their needs, as well as all necessary tools.
Paid on the job training.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in various standby generators.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance.
- Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to execute repairs efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their service needs and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to equipment repair and maintenance.
Requirements
- Mechanical knowledge
- Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid NYS drivers license

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
